You feel a sense of calm walking through the doors, each therapist is a real person with their own personal style; visible in each of their individual offices. As therapists, we each lean into our own self growth journeys and remain active in self reflection, both professionally and personally.

We are a collaborative of therapists working together to serve children, adolescents and adults. We are here to provide safety and support as you are working toward growth and wellness in your mental or chemical health. We want you to come as you are. We will do the same.

We hear you, we see you, you matter. We take our time and want you to feel comfortable.

We provide both in-office and telehealth therapy options. Please be mindful that if you are sick or have a fever to reach out to your provider to determine the appropriateness of an in-office session.

What is needed to set up my first appointment?

If you have searched through our provider bios and you have a specific provider in mind, please indicate that when you fill out the ‘set up a free consult.’ Given the volume of need currently, many of our providers may have waitlists and they can better speak to availability and answer specific questions you may have.

If you are unsure of who would be the best fit or want to know more about who may have immediate openings, you may fill out an info request on our website or you may call our main office line and leave a message and a provider will reach back out to you. Please include email in addition to a phone number as often email is the fastest way to catch providers in between appointments.

Whether we have an immediate opening or you are placed on a waiting list, a provider will reach out to you to explain next steps (i.e. paperwork, scheduling, insurance verification). All providers require that intake paperwork be completed prior to scheduling your first appointment due to the time needed to ensure all paperwork and insurance information have been processed correctly.

All intake paperwork is sent via a link to the email you provided through your initial inquiry (Note: if you do not see the link, please check your spam folder). We encourage all clients to call on their insurance benefits to ensure that Maple Grove Therapy and Wellness is in network with your insurance plan prior to scheduling.

​What will happen at my first appointment?

​At your first appointment, your provider will ask you many questions to gain insight about your current circumstances. These questions may inquire about the types of problems you are experiencing, your personal and family history, and medical history. You will then develop an Individualized Treatment Plan with your provider, which serves as a baseline for measuring your progress in treatment.

Please make sure to have all intake paperwork completed prior to your first appointment.

Who should attend the intake appointment?

For adult clients, the client must attend this appointment. Others can be included (e.g. spouse, parent) if desired. For children and adolescent clients, both parents are encouraged to attend the appointment. If it is not possible for both to attend, the parent who is not able to come is welcome to provide in writing his or her concerns to the provider. Some providers request children attend the appointment with parents; check with the clinician prior to the first session.

Appointment Reminders

By agreeing on your client portal, you can receive a text message and/or an email prior to every scheduled appointment. Please note that this is a courtesy, and all patients are responsible for remembering and canceling their appointments per the cancellation policy.

Once you are a client of Maple Grove Therapy & Wellness, you will receive 
an email to access our portal. There you will find all of the required documents
that can be filled out online. The portal will be where all of your appointments are
scheduled and rescheduled as well as the main avenue for direct communication with your provider.
