Hey there. I’m Jill.
Most people would describe me as having a calming presence that brings a warm, welcoming atmosphere to therapy. I focus on making therapy easy to get started with while pushing to achieve the goals we set for therapy through deeply empathic listening. Therapy should be a combination of validation, challenging, gaining awareness and growth. I have a sarcastic sense of humor that I like to use in therapy when appropriate. No matter what the focus of therapy is, we can work as a team to help you achieve your goals.
I utilize both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) approaches.
